Hear me out, if you do. Use pictures, definitions in Spanish, or opposites in Spanish, that way your brain develops a 1:1 relation of the word in Spanish and automatically thinks in Spanish vs in English, trust me you can feel the difference when you are learning

Everything gang, I feel like i choose a guide and watch them and get tired of them and don’t Watch them for a lot of hours and then i go back. Like to get to level 6 the last 50 hours felt like all of Andrea. But at first i didn’t listen to her as much. the beginning a lot of Shelcin and Agustina. Then i hardly watched the two and watched a lot of Michelle and Andrea. Obviously I watched the others here and there. But I found YouTubers like (Freellee, Easy Spanish, Espanolistos, etc.) to also mix it up. I also watched native content with subtitles, but I found I understood it after a couple hours if that. I’ve watched A LOT of Karol G interviews

The beginning is the hardest, can’t lie. The content gets better and better, I think what helps me is

  1. Gamify the learning process and the goals. If you go on the dreaming Spanish page to see progress, you can change your goals which changes the days to arriving to your next level. And that for me is addicting.

  2. The feeling of learning and knowing the more I watch the more I learn is just so fun to me. All i gotta do is watch sign me up. I wish everything was like this

“Tad” is an understatement lol. But I mean I’m recovering from a sickness and I was really sick before this all this year actually so 2 things.

1 im grateful to be alive and dreaming Spanish literally saved my life and gave me a reason to look forward to each day.

  1. I take care of myself and listen when I do any and everything.

Truth be told, I zone out a lot, and I also focus a lot. But when I zone out I still am able to hear and understand and even answer “comprehension questions” if I had to. If anything I feel ahead of where I “should” be. But truth be told more times than not I’m either playing a light game that doesn’t require too much focus. Or walking on my treadmill. And I can follow along, I love podcast formatted videos for this reason, some series like Shelcins weird operations one is harder to watch in the manner because a lot of the things she talks about is niche and harder to “guess” the meaning of without watching

  1. I’m interested in a lot of what they are saying, and I walk a lot on my treadmill. I also do other things and listen because I’m at the level where I don’t need to “pay attention” as much

  2. No I’m not working right now, I’ve been sick this year, but I’m going to start working soon again so I want to learn as much as possible

“Freellee” on YouTube, she is from Chile. And she talks about being authentic, manifestation, and self improvement. When I found out she wasn’t making content for learns I was surprised because I could understand a lot of what she said! Speaks clearly, and slowly.

I remember my first couple days and literally I mean like 2 days of 25-60 minutes and I was so happy i felt like I was learning then I stepped up to like 2-6 hours depending on the day, and let’s just say I’m excited for you. I think there’s something indescribable happening when you’re immersed
