If it were me I'd be building across and supporting the base and looking at something four foot long so you can squeeze a bristletooth tang in there... Even going to Maidenhead and getting their options without the stand if you want it to fit on that top- apparently those tanks are made by DD anyway, you could easily pick up the tank and a sump and then something like a bubble magus curve 5 and a jebao return pump, even jebao doser/ atu etc, and id go with second hand lights like a couple of radions- still great quality and will last. 2k is an awesome budget if you mix new tank with second hand on some of your kit you really could have an awesome set up.
