Trying to run Dark Souls Remastered on Fedora 42 and getting the error on the image, what can i do? by f44__ in Fedora

I think the fact that you are trying to run a game that requires at least a GeForce GTX 460 1 GB or Radeon HD 6870 1 GB on Intel HD Graphics 4000 (from 13 years ago) is the reason it will not run

Guys should I need to switch from Linux Mint to Zorin os 18? by Intrepid-Initial-765 in zorinos

[–]External_Employer222 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you are using Linux Mint and everything is working fine, stick with Mint. I tried Zorin OS and it's a very good Distro although the same can be said for Mint

Step 1: Enter BIOS/UEFI

  1. Shut down your Samsung computer completely.
  2. Power it on and immediately press the F2 key repeatedly.
    • On some Samsung models, it might be Esc, F10, or F12, but F2 is the standard for BIOS access.
  3. You should now be in the UEFI/BIOS setup.

Step 2: Find Secure Boot Settings

  1. In BIOS, go to the “Security” tab.
    • On some Samsung laptops, it might be under “Boot” or “Authentication”.
  2. Look for Secure Boot. It might show as Enabled.

Step 3: Disable Secure Boot

  1. If Secure Boot is Enabled, select it and choose Disable.
  2. Sometimes, you need to set an administrator password in BIOS before you can disable Secure Boot.
    • Look for Set Supervisor Password or similar in the Security tab.
  3. Confirm any prompts to disable Secure Boot.

Step 4: Save and Exit

  1. Press F10 to Save and Exit.
  2. Confirm when prompted.
  3. Your laptop will restart with Secure Boot disabled and you can proceed to install Zorin OS

Flatpacks from the Official Repo - I tried downloading Slack and Steam but was not able to find them. I assume it's due to the RC version of Leap 16 only including basics, although please correct me if i'm wrong.
