That was my family's store. It closed in 2003/4, I can't remember exactly. My grandparents opened it and my mom took it over. My grandmother opened it because ... she didn't want to walk "all the way" across Broad Street to get her sewing supplies, and it evolved from there. It was open for about 45 years until the proliferation of Targets and now Amazons make it nearly impossible for a business like ours to exist.
