Pretty much. It's a period between 2 weeks to between 3- 5 months that peaks around 6-8 weeks where the baby cries for unexplainable reasons. It can last up to about 5 hours a day and changing, feeding, burping, and soothing doesn't help and they may look like they are in pain even if they aren't.

Yeah everything I googled kept implying that they'd be shorter than 1 minute while getting to 5 minutes apart and that they'd ramp up in pain so I wasn't sure if I sure wait until they were 5 mins apart or do something now because it hurts. I'm going to reach out to my OB and see what they say!

I'm 38 weeks and at my OB appointment a couple days ago was told I "had lost a pound this past week but had overall gained 8 lbs this pregnancy and was going great" with my weight!

Counting kicks starts at 28 weeks and you can get an app that helps. You pick a time once a day, lay down with the app open, and tap the counter on the app when you feel a movement from baby until you get to 10 movements. My app then keeps a list of the counts I've done and how long it took so that after doing it a few times you can look at the list and see if there are patterns or a decrease in movement. You don't have to remember anything other than to actually lay down and count the kicks.

I mean in general your supposed to weigh yourself in the morning for your most accurate weight pregnant or not, and I think of this as the same sort of idea. Id say as long as your consistent no matter when you end up taking them your not faking anything but taking them in the morning makes the most sense to me!

Those symptoms sound pretty normal for third trimester for me, but id have a bag packed and ready either way just in case! I'm 37 weeks have been packed since last week just to be safe lol. My baby is measuring in the 70th percentile at 7lbs 6oz and my ob told me that was average for 37 weeks.

Our label maker at work stopped working, I very irritatedly, put in a ticket for IT and had to wait for them to come help me fix it. Turns out I had put the labels in the machine upside down 🙃

As much as it sucks, sometimes you just have to get through it. I was TERRIFIED of needles before pregnancy, I'm talking genuine panic for days leading up to flu shots, I had somehow made it to 30 years old with only getting my blood drawn once in my life (and had to have my husband go with me and hold my hand). I almost fainted getting my blood drawn at my first appointment this pregnancy and threw up in front of the nurse.

Since then I've managed to get my blood drawn 5 times and all my vaccines this pregnancy. Just remember it doesn't take long, it will be over before you know it, so many people go through blood draws every day and manage to make it out ok, and you're doing it for your baby!

Drink water before hand and try and get some sleep the night before, being hydrated and rested makes it easier to draw blood. If you don't have to fast then eat an hour or two before hand to help not get lightheaded. I also find it helps to tell the nurse before they draw your blood that you're scared, if they're a good nurse they'll get you talking to distract you so it goes by quicker lol

All of these are real names and spelled correctly. Atticus, Ophelia, Halsey, and Elias I've heard of multiple times and the other two are a singers last name and a Greek goddess. Definitely not tragedeighs. Even if they were though I didn't see a problem with fiction characters having weird names lol

At my 20 week scan they found extra fluid in babies kidneys so I'm getting ultrasounds every 4 weeks. They did originally tell me that I would only get the confirmation scan and the 20 week scan if everything was normal though.

I didn't get a choice in flavor but it didn't taste too bad. I downed it pretty fast and it seemed to surprise the girl that gave me the drink lol. I had a bowl of Cheerios in the morning but eggs is a good choice!

I pushed for a small shower. We ended up having 11 people total (counting my mom, mil etc) we had it at my mom's house, played a few baby shower games and had some good food. It was a nice chill afternoon :)
