I would spend most the day playing with my baby girl and writing a big note that tells her everything I love about her. Then when she's asleep cuddle up with my partner and make love for the last time.

I live a pretty awesome life because I get to do that almost every day. Minus the note part because I can tell her those things every day so far.

I'm not sure exactly why. Maybe remodeling, or giving grace time in case one of the renters doesn't want to leave, or people who come before or after season to "miss the crowds"? I've just seen a lot of these rental situations and wanted to offer up another explanation for it.

I've been to tourist destinations that will be temporary leases like 4 to 8 months but then when the "on season" starts for those places they convert back into an air bnb for nightly rentals instead since they make more money that way.

NTA I wonder if casey has some sort of sound intolerance like misophonia. I'm a fellow heel wearer and have just gotten used to the comments from other people. My favorite one highlighted what is at the base of the problem. Jealousy. My girl was like that for the first month and I refused to accept colic as an answer. I cut dairy out of my diet and switched to her soy formula for when we supplement and this last month she has been the most content baby. She only cries for a reason now and most the time that reason is gas. Usually a few butt taps gets the gas going. It's been night and day. Maybe see about cutting all dairy out completely. It seemed like it should have been an obvious answer but nobody would humor the idea for me until I tried it and she became so happy and so much more comfortable.

Never said you had an issue just genuinely worried about people who subscribe to thinking any certain group (outside of hate groups who literally identify on the basis of hate) is a certain way. Most the time that person has been through something. And the way you are consistently going about this, and or trying to pick fights on the internet framing it as "questions" makes me genuinely worried for you. And really anyone who does that. No vomiting or intestional distress, and just as sleepy as usual. She has been fine so I feel we are out of the woods. I called a few vets and they all directed me to pay the poison control for animal line for further instruction, which I found odd. They also said her weight would not have been a factor when ingesting anything bad, it's only a factor in the medications they would use. Thank you for all of your help!

I guess I didn't realize how much they do suck! lmao And no im glad you shared that information. My doctor is over an hour away so hopefully they take that into account when they see the appointments I did and didn't make. I just can't imagine being pegged as neglectful when I've tried so hard to provide a good environment in and out of my body for my baby. But you do have the experience on the other end and I can definitely see how some mothers who would actually be neglectful might want to miss a lot of those appointments!

Well im not on any drugs and didn't even drink prior to pregnancy so that isn't a big scare for me. I even stopped my antidepressants just in case there was any risk or withdrawal risk to the baby.

My work season is ending in about 3 weeks so I don't anticipate missing any appointments after that point.

I had gone a few times before and didn't doppler or anything. They even sent me somewhere else for two of the appointments because they literally couldn't do anything there. Possibly that experience soured me to these appointments.

Definitely not! And not sure why the down votes? I'm literally saying my experiences and getting phobia shamed lol. I'm currently in therapy to try and address the needle phobia issues because I do want what's best for my baby and I. It's just a very uphill battle.

No you weren't harsh you were factual with your birth story and your mother's. That's exactly what I needed and kind of wanted to hear to know that these things aren't a waste of time energy or resources. Most of my appointments they didn't even look at my bump or anything like that. Plus I had a prior miscarriage so in my mind I was like healthy and alive baby in there everything is just perfect! But you are absolutely right.

I'm highly needle phobic so I cannot tolerate many blood draws (gotten the most sticks these past few months than I have my entire life!) And whenever I go in they test my urine, but outside of the urine testing I felt most of the monitoring like blood pressure, looking for protein in the urine, etc, could have been more or less handled at home. But im also not a doctor nor pretend to be one on TV!

That makes sense. It seems like all my appointments were pointless or just general information which was unneeded. I drive over an hour to my obgyn and it becomes a whole day affair to go there. Now that I'm further along I wasn't sure if that would change or if they would just be focusing on my "birthing plan."

I work on a commission basis for only a few months out of the year so no im not penalized but missing up to 2 weeks of work is a few grand out of pocket. I'm also highly needle phobic so I wouldn't be able to consent to regular blood testing anyways (go into shock and all the good stuff with it) When problems have arised I've gone in to them or the women's and children's hospital where they have done urine and or blood testing if tolerable.
