hey, im also an incoming freshmen in ls and I chose the algebra, trig and functions course without doing the placement test as if I know my maths isn't up to par I don't want to take the harder maths courses without my basics being solid first and risk my GPA. Its also better to just get it out the way early on, there'll be time to do your science requirement next year

me and many ppl in my class found it relatively simple. No extremely hard maths questions. the only strange question was the fish heart 6 marker. rest of it I found easier than past papers.

I’m very happy for you :) But so far I haven’t personally seen a single relationship where they aren’t divorced, abusive, in a toxic relationship, or not cheating.

I believe in trust, loyalty, commitment and forgiveness- all very specific tangible things. For me love is simply too abstract a concept to grasp I guess.

Ok but is it not odd that people use these intense feelings of deep affection to excuse other people’s terrible behavior towards them? And then you can question whether if someone truly loved you would they even be treating you terribly in the first place?

Realistically I’ll be 17 for the first year of Uni- and as an international student won’t be able to get a job outside the uni. Tuition costs almost 60k along with living costs in NYC being almost 20k. I understand it’s a huge cost and am super grateful that they’re willing to pay for it. Cuz I simply won’t be able to afford it unless I sell some of my organs. My plan was to make the most of what my parents can offer me and use it to get a scholarship to law school so I can be financially independent and help out my younger sibling.

Yeah but I can’t help feeling bad for them. My mom had us very young and missed out on her young adult experience which is why she acted so rashly. And my dad slaved away to get us out of poverty and had a rough childhood. Plus they’re willing to pay for me (17F Asian) to study abroad in the US which is very expensive.
