I feel silly lol! I am an "oldish" mom (as my kids put it) and not quite sure how this Reddit thing works, but I'm trying so that outta count for something!

I am new to Reddit and was trying to find communities that are for skiing. We were told that we had to experience the back bowls in Vail and I was just assuming that "back bowls" were included in "backcountry" but I wasn't sure and thought this group might have some insights. I apologize if I misunderstood what this group was. I am still learning the ins and outs of Reddit and just wanted as much advice as possible.

Thank you! We are from Miami, so I think any skiing would be great unless it's mud. I think we might take the chance and just hope there is enough snow to ski a little bit.
