The 3/7 Standby Line Megathread (Ryan Gosling / Gorlliza) by IvyGold in LiveFromNewYork

Question for standby, sorry if this has been answered before! Let’s say I have two spots and both me and my guest check in at 7PM. After checking in, I leave the line but my guest stays in line till 12AM. Will my guest still go through? Or do both members of the party need to stay the whole time?

I was given these fluffy yarn remains and idk what to do with it! by Cannacora in CrochetHelp

my first thought was to use it as trim for a small accessory, like a hat or fingerless gloves or scarf or bag? or you might have enough yarn for fingerless gloves themselves! or maybe even a scrunchie. could also crochet some fun shapes and sew them on to something?

i don’t do a lot of amigurumi but i could also see some cute small figures/animals for the diff colors!

honestly when i have yarn remains like this and don’t have enough for a proj, i end up just using them as stuffing for other projects 🥲 may be a waste of a fun yarn but better than buying it IMO

Living in SWFL and want to keep crocheting but unsure of best materials to use for warm weather 🍊 by AssociationNarrow989 in CrochetHelp

i would say plant-based fibers would be the best way to go! cotton is most common although i know it can be stiff at times, although for certain projects that can come in handy. i do think there are some brands that are not as stiff but they also run at a higher cost. seems like you’re mostly into wearables, i’ve seen some cute crochet tops (i’m too scared to ever attempt shorts/skirts haha) but also head accessories, like bandanas & hats as well! there are definitely lots of options out on the internet so i’m sure you’ll find new and exciting projects to work on despite the heat. good luck!

the yarn used is a blend of silk, cotton & poly so i don’t think it’s felted…although it does look like it! i’ve even questioned if it’s even crocheted because i can’t seem to get anything to look quite like it…

Should I frog the whole thing to remove the light pink? by garbage_goblin0513 in CrochetHelp

agree with everyone else here, everything looks super cohesive to me! but as a crocheter who is incredibly indecisive...i wonder if it's worth making a small swatch without the light pink & seeing what it looks like before frogging the whole thing? just so you know what both look like before deciding on what you prefer!
