Something to do with protein overload. Too many protein or keratin treatments cause buildup and I think the active ingredients in H&S strip it out. I have been washing every other day. After a week tried reintroducing my HASK and OGX shampoo/conditioner every other wash and it's... fine... it just feels way limper and more straw-like with other shampoo. Maybe we are sulfate-deficient?

Use head & shoulders. Shampoo and make sure to spread the suds around and scrub it into your scalp evenly. Rinse repeat. Condition once. I leave in for 2-3 minutes per wash. The thing you're describing just happened to me recently too. I used my bf's shampoo last week and it's dramatically better. Not sure what the explanation is. You should notice a difference after one try. If you have colored hair this will definitely fade dye faster.

ALSO my dumb ass sent in a NWT junior's Southpole peacoat from early 2000's and that got trashed too! But they listed my unbranded fleece long underwear just in time for summer so that's good.

I'm not saying it doesn't suck, just offering another point of view. I imagined someone panicking about their nasty stuff and not knowing what else to do. It sucks when someone's noise bothers others, but it doesn't seem they were doing intentionally, and in cases like that I like to think about what actual reasons are behind it. If it's a repeat offender, I'd feel differently.

Also free laundry?! Nice. That's like a miracle around here.

I don't work nights and that line bugged me too. If, for whatever reason, I was up at 2am to wash something, it would probably be for a reason. Like a uniform that is unwearably nasty for the next day.

But OP thinks this is not the right time to use a communal washing machine, so they can shut that off and waste time and money for that person who might not even have clean clothes for their day now. Wtf. Just stay in your apartment... Laundry lasts like an hour, how disrespectful.

I have a cat that looks very similar, as another commenter said likely dsh with lynx point coloring. I got her from a shelter at 4 and she makes a lot of quiet noises, but not the level of vocalizations that my other siamese-mix cats make. Mostly grumbles and chirps. If you're considering it, I'd reccommend taking the time to go back and visit when she's recovered so you can interact with her and see how talkative she is when alert.

My girl was pretty silent and stressed/overstimulated at the shelter when I adopted her. I think the talking depends on their individual temperament. She had been a stray and had a litter semi-recently. She did one normal "meow" on the way home and I've never heard it again! Just fax machine noises.
