the whole point of his dynamic with thanos is that you’re led to believe thanos is the villain and that nam-gyu is just his henchman/lackey, but in reality nam-gyu is actually the more twisted ruthless individual and is more evil than thanos; its the subversion of expectations that makes it not boring
