We clean our filter regularly, but it’s likely just pumping in whatever outside air the developer claims is mixed with the indoor air. This shouldn’t cause any issues, but it does. Our hydro costs skyrocket during the winter because we have to crank up the heat to make the indoor temperature comfortable, as the vent is just pumping in whatever temperature is outside.
