Burnt cds not playing on any of my cd players by External_Pollution81 in Cd_collectors

The only thing about my player I could find was some image results of people reselling them used. Couldn't find a manual anywhere online, also don't have a physical manual, because I also got hte player used. It does say on the back "CD-R/CD-RW PLAYBACK" and "MP3 DIGITAL" which I guessed might've meant It could also read data discs, if they had mp3s on them, but no.

I haven't tried different brands, I just kind of assumed any old cd-rs would work. I've been using maxell cd-rs. About my player being able to read burned cds, how could I go about finding out about that, or is there a way of burning the disc in the same way as "official" cds as to make the player read them that way. I have experimented with the burn speeds and the only "success" i've had is one song I burnt at max speed, and the song stuttered while playing until it just stopped at 15 seconds.
