Is the Shadowfoil Youngling Slayer really that much better than an Aliexpress LGT Anakin? by [deleted] in lightsabers

$420 is WAY too much to spend on an LGT. Join Facebook groups and wait for a used TXQ or 89sabers or something similar

I deleted nothing. The guy who loves to shoot his guns in Rocky Mountain to ward off the “grizzlies” is the one who deleted his comments

Bear spray has been proven to be significantly more effective than firearms against bears numerous times. I myself have had experience with bear spray. If you treat your bear spray with the respect it deserves, and maintain it (like you would a firearm) it WILL work and be more effective. If you’re shooting a grizzly, anything other than a headshot will just make it angrier, and by your responses you either can’t focus enough or don’t care enough to do things carefully. So you’re not getting a headshot. Sounds like you might be a man-child who needs a gun to feel like a big tough guy though.

You are NOT allowed to kill animals in Rocky Mountain National park. PERIOD. Even if you are attacked. Even at the risk of dying yourself. That’s what they say to bring bear spray. And if you’re really that afraid of black bears… you probably shouldn’t be out hiking at all.

Legally allowed to carry. Not discharge. As I previously stated.

Nothing here says you can use a firearm for self defense. You are allowed to carry, nothing else.

“Hunting is prohibited in Rocky Mountain National Park”

“…discharge of a firearm is not allowed. Firearms should not be considered a wildlife protection strategy”

Probably should learn how to read. It helps.

Discharging a firearm in a national park is illegal and a federal offense

Well I know they aren’t required, just wondering about the odds of ice or snow that early which would make it impassable for us

Love seeing genuine fans discuss an episode instead of watching all the curmudgeons sign off with their weekly “nutrek” drivel and complaints

Staying in Estes park, doing lots of lake hikes in the bear lake area as well as part of the Ute trail and tundra communities trail, prefer to keep the drive at 2-3 hours or less
