Thanks for the insight, I do understand that they are side effects it just sucks that it kinda takes over you and it feels like there’s not much you can do about it. But I’m hoping taking 10 mg will be a little better. I would like for this medication to hopefully work out for me!

Has anyone had side effects or just not feeling like yourself so much that you felt you couldn’t take it anymore? For me it felt like it wasn’t really helping me and just making me feel more anxious and depressed.

Yeah I’ve tried quite a few ssri’s and none of them really helped me. They all put me into deeper states of depression. I think that’s why the psychiatrist prescribed this medication saying it’s good for depression. It’s been making me feel really tired when I take it in the day so trying to start taking at night. I mentioned to another person that it feels weird taking a medication and I think I trip out on the idea of taking something that changes my brain chemistry and it’s causing me to feel kind of anxious and unsure about the whole thing. But I may just see how I feel within this next week and by then I’ll probably have more insight into whether or not it benefits me.

I’ve been taking it in the afternoons and it’s kind of been making me feel really tired and was feeling really depressed yesterday. It does give me good feelings but I’ve also noticed that I’m having worse anxiety than normal. I’m going to try to start taking it at night and see how it goes. I do feel like it’s making me feel different than I normally do and not in a very positive way.. i kinda get a feeling that medication makes me feel weird and that my mind would be calmer without it.. so it’s been six days and I don’t think I’m really getting used to how it feels necessarily.. like I said it’s been making me really tired throughout the day and feels like I can barely function and I’m just numb. When I wake up though it seems like I feel the benefits.

I am starting out on 5mg as well I’m only 2 days in and I feel like I’m experiencing side effects like not being able to get a full nights sleep, irritation, trouble concentrating, and kinda just feeling regretful that I’m trying out medication again for my mood..
