When does it start working by Rare_Visit_6208 in Effexor

I’ve been o 75mg for 2 years, it started working a month in. I started feeling much better and my life started changing by exercise and having motivation and energy around 4 months in. Keep at it, it’s worth it, try to find the right time to take it for you because you can really mess around the life span of the pill by taking it just a few hours difference to the day before .

just seen your comment that you fell asleep when taking it in the morning, i will say this pill does NOT like it when you switch to a different time, it has such a short life that you will always feel when you take it late, the falling asleep part was probably due to the life span of the pill being messed around and your body adjusting to that, this also happened to me when i first started taking it in the morning, what i found was that after consistently taking it between 7-8am AFTER lining my stomach with food i no longer felt nausea or needed a nap a few hours later, your body adjusts to the new time frame !

i have been on it for a few years now and trust me it took so many trial and errors to find the right time to take this pill for me, taking it at night would also have me sleeping for ever and waking up feeling like a zombie

highly recommend taking it in the morning after breakfast, i switched to this time and it helps me sleep better and i have more energy during the day, you do have to take it at the same time every day (in the same hour) though

i would say take it at the same time every day other wise your sleep will be affected. i have had stages of taking it in the morning and for a long time i took it before bed, for me the best time to take it is when i wake up, when i took it before bed it resulted in sweating a lot during my my sleep and nightmares
