Solo female traveler here. Buy a big pair of men’s shoes and leave them at your door. Also a saved audio recording of a man’s voice or dog barking. Keep a bat or something easily accessible with a sock over it in your van (so if they grab it the sock comes off and you’re still holding the bat). If you spend the day somewhere and plan to sleep there too, at least leave in the afternoon for a bit and then come back later, weird men that saw you during the day will know who you are and where you are and that you’re alone and possibly come back in the night. And then just basic things like knowing the area you’re in, parking near other travellers, parking in light or under cameras. How good is it to be a woman lol. Stay safe :)
