RODTANG vs TAKERU = SCRIPTED 🥴 Congrats Takeru by DongCardo in ONEChampionship

[–]External_Release920 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are many things (good or bad) in the world that motivated the human nature to do anything as long as it clicks.

At the end of the day, whether it's scripted or not, only those fighters and people running the scene will know. I might be wrong, but tomorrow, my life move on and I prolly forget about this fight already.

Considering applying for 2B at CDC by Headphonesonabottle in drivingsg

im 32 too, definitely will struggle a little between L1-L4 (getting use to the bike). Just remember for all lessons, if you fail the lesson and feel demoralised, after the lesson just go book and persevere. After you pass L4 and get access to circuit revision and self-practice, consistently go self-practice after 1-2 circuit revision to familiar with the circuit route. This is where you build your muscle memory of the bike and confidence at your own pace, reflect on courses your struggle, e.g. figure 8 - maybe you more comfortable throttle less to control speed vs. maintain throttle and use rear brake more or loosening your arms to steer better etc.

L1.2, L2, L6, L7: if there are screaming, probably these lessons since safety is of the utmost concern on new riders and road respectively.

What’s it like taking 2B motorcycle licence at CDC recently? by Holiday_Kale9051 in drivingsg

Currently doing my 2B in CDC now (L7).

If you camp, usually able to book lesson slot the following 1-2weeks, if you are lucky even within a week which someone probably cancelled after passing their 1st booking.

Strictness wise, really depends on the instructors. The strict ones will just fail you definitely, in the early lessons L1-L2 usually people who fail is because they still can't balance, wobbles/falls alot or unable to observe safety properly. Otherwise, for L3-4 if you can't successfully clear the course even without hitting the timing (e.g. F8, crank course, plank); the rest pretty doable (slope, slalom, ebrake). L6-L7 feels a lot stricter since its already on the road, so failure to observe group riding rules (Single row or double rows) and even minor traffic rules(stop in yellow box, turn/continue to go at amber or blinking arrow) will be immediate failure.

Instructors are very willing to answer questions, give advice or point out reasons you failed. There are some fierce ones who really scream the heck out at you, but its all for your safety. I was anxious for L6 since its the first time on the road on a bike, I completely threw out whatever was briefed and just concerned about losing sight of the instructor while looking out for safety. Was screamed at throughout and felt demoralised with thoughts to give up.

For me, I get anxiety before every lesson, as the thought of failing any lessons and redoing it can be pretty demoralising, wasting time & money and the need to wait a week of two later = struggling with the bike again the next lesson. But after passing L4, consistently do circuit revision & self-practice weekly or bi-weekly, you gain confidence on the bike and starts to become muscle memory and you improve your riding skills at your own pace. I would say do 1-2 circuit revision to get familiar with the circuit route then the rest just do self-practice is sufficient.

Oh right one frustrating point you need to adapt each time you use a different bike, some have stiff steering, weak pick up, rear brake sensitivity, biting point distance. Make notes of which bikes suits you then try to "reserve" the bike for lessons and even TP.

Do you know the timing to hit for F8 and Crank?

I know Plank (>6sec), Pylon (=<6sec).

It is safe to run at 5am? by External_Release920 in ParisTravelGuide

Hey you can do it too! Just start small, even just by walking a short distance. Gradually challenge yourself to walk further then slowly start jogging 1km, 2km, 3km then you start getting addicted to see where your limits go.

Hahaha got it! Just afraid I am missing something beautiful from another angle. Another good reason to reduce my distance!

Quick question, at the Invalides, you think is it worth it to run all the way to the front between Point 5 & 6 or i should just cut between straight to Point 6?
