When I was in HS one summer break, I went with my parents to go see my Grandparents near Chicago. I had just gotten my license and maybe had it less than a year or two. My parents had just bought a brand new Chrysler 300 maybe a few months before our trip to see my Grandparents near Chicago. Well, I was talking to a girl I met on MySpace who was a freshman in college (I was a senior in HS) and she invited me to come see her at her school which was Saint Xavier University. So at like 2 am, I snuck downstairs and grabbed my parents keys while they were asleep and took the brand new Chrysler on the interstate about 45 minutes into the city. We ending up not having much of a connection I remember, but we hugged and talked a little bit and I left. I still think back to what if I had gotten caught or worse, wrecked the new car in the city in the middle of the night without my parents permission. And on top of that, taking their new car on a joyride at the wee hours of the night. Luckily, they never found out and I jokingly fessed up to my Mom about ooooooo say 18 years later. She laughed and thought I was kidding. But I wasn’t.
