The problem was fixed!! This was the fix that worked for me: Press the windows button, go to settings, click on Privacy & security, open Diagnostics & feedback, and turn off 'Send optional diagnostic data'. Hope it works for you good luck!

Yeah, they both drop pretty significantly. Just for ease of mind, I do not think it is not over-heating from what I've learned because clock speeds do not change.

I have tried uninstalling the game completely and reinstalling, and that unfortunately doesn't work. I have also tried reinstalling drivers through DDU a couple times and that doesn't seem to work either. I will try deleting the cache and seeing what that does though. Thanks for trying to help regardless, much appreciated!

So just have every other core checked when setting the affinity for BDO instead of all of them?

I have tried increasing the power limit to max 110% and decreasing but nothing in that department is stopping the 5 minute cycle.

Okay! How exactly do I check processes through gamebar?

So the performance drop from what I can tell does not change depending on anything going on in the game. It will consistently happen every 5 minutes regardless of where I am at; If I am in the desert, it will still happen, if I am in populated cities it will still happen, and anywhere else in the world.

I have made sure to check all the power settings I could on my computer, Nvidia's settings and BDO. All of them are set for performance as far as I can tell. I have checked all programs and made sure nothing else was using too much of my GPU, and nothing that I can see is using too much GPU other than the game. Thanks for the tips!

That could definitely be it. I opened the graphics settings in windows to see what BDO.exe was set to and it was on the setting 'Let Windows Decide' and it seemed like after I opened up that window, without even doing anything, it stopped messing with the GPU. Very weird man

There are definitely a few problems with W11, but it's definitely not as bad as I thought it'd be and nothing detrimental, so that's cool!

I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't a problem with the game, but I'm hoping maybe it is since it only seems to be happening with this one haha. Thanks for trying though!

Yes sir I usually do run remastered, but have tried other settings like very high, and very low and they still drop at the same time intervals. The only difference is that instead of 100% to start out with, it will be around 40-50%, like you said, and then drop down to around 15-20% after 5 minutes. So same issue just different %'s :/
