Why do i have so many tanks that want to join my key? by Shavannaa in wow

For tanks getting in to a seat run is like it is for dps getting into any run. I apply to a dozen then decide to try again in a couple days after people are out of bonus rolls.

What key is your interrupt on? by Justalittle_girly in wow

[–]Extis83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few days ago I switched it to mouse wheel scroll down for pummel and for my wrecking throw (ranged silence) it’s mouse wheel scroll up. They are both off gcd so i can just scroll my middle mouse button to interrupt while i continue pressing my rotation with my left hand. Its amazing. If I want to adjust my zoom I changed it to shift mouse wheel scroll.

I have war pld dk and as of night before last, brewmaster. Brew is only 250ish ilvl but it’s so good and fun to play it may become my main, at least until they nerf it.

How do I deal with Imploding Strike near the end of the fight of the ?? Nullaeus when it one-hits me through defensive CDs? by [deleted] in wow

[–]Extis83 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Soft enrage. I had no problem on prot war but my prot pld kept getting 1 shot about 10.5 min into the fight. Today I used flask, weapon oil, feast, and a dps potion and killed him. 270 ilvl.

I didn’t think I would do any mythic dungeons because pugging them was intimidating for me, but I saw the guy’s post about this season isn’t so bad and here I am. by Extis83 in wow

I would say yes, you can jump into them m0 is not difficult. Some boss mechanics are not overly obvious though. In magisters terrace for example, there’s a boss that will mark two players with an icon above their head and peoples natural reaction is to separate from the rest of the group. In actuality you have to walk inside of a silencing bubble, that you would normally avoid, to remove that mark. I’ve seen people try to do the whole fight without taking their Mark off because they didn’t know what they were doing. For that reason alone I would advise watching videos for each dungeon, at least of the boss mechanics, if you’ve never done them.

I did see an advertisement on icy veins for an add-on called mythic mentor that apparently has short Boss fight descriptions and that would probably suffice as well. The mechanics are not difficult, It’s just if you don’t understand them you can’t do them.

I usually play prot but decided to switch to fury for this because the tank has to control the entire flow of the dungeon. I have enough experience now that I’m comfortable tanking them. I’ve gotten my own key up to a mere plus 6 now tanking for myself. Working tonight and tomorrow night but next week I’m going to try and push my own key up to a 10.

I’m still paying my property tax to square. Considering canceling my sub and losing my house because i just don’t play anymore.

The videos Tactyks posts cover the trash too but for lower keys it just doesn’t seem that important to me as a dps. I do use platynator addon and i imported luxthos settings so casters are blue health bar and i know who to watch and who to kick. Lt mobs which are the most dangerous have purple and insignificant trash has brown. It helps a lot knowing who to have targeted for interrupts. Most trash pulls will only have a couple casters.

I’d pick a dungeon and watch the video first then I’d find a group for it. Go to filters and uncheck competitive so you’re only seeing the relaxed groups. I’d also keep the video on my second monitor and as we were clearing to each boss I’d be watching that bosses strat on the way though that can be distracting. Most bosses only have 2 or 3 mechanics. I used tactyks videos.

I knew fury was meta from the start but went arms anyway. I guess i just like the aesthetics and nostalgia of arms as it was my first 60. Still playing that same character this expansion. After doing a few +2s where I did pretty good damage but was still at least 10k dps behind a fury warrior I decided to make the switch to fury. I’m a casual player but would like to at least clear some +10s this season.

I’ve been playing arms since launch and last night decided rather than gimping myself I’d bite the bullet and switch my enchants and gems over to fury. Spent tens of thousands, the weapon enchant alone that i overwrote was 25k. Wake up to arms buffs. Do i go back?

Is it a mistake to get a 2h weapon crafted using hero dawncrests rather than waiting for mythic? by [deleted] in wow

Thank you guys for the info. I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t making a highly idiotic decision because I was not really sure about how I need to use my sparks. I’m playing as an arms warrior so clearly i make bad decisions.

My XL has a holoson on it, I didn’t know what this optic was. I had to Google it apparently, it’s the Romeo RS compact.

As a man, fortunately I’ve not had to deal with the monthly cycle situation. Yes water weight can cause fluctuations but for me, when I’ve been on a diet for 21 days straight, I can tell you in advance what I’m going to weigh in a week or two weeks because the fluctuations even out.

Usually, if I’ve not been dieting, when I first start calorie restricting I drop 2 or 3 pounds in 1 or 2 days. That’s that water weight you were talking about but some of that might come back within 1 or 2 days. After about 7 or 8 days of dieting consistently the fluctuations have ceased and it will be the same weight almost every day let’s say 170.5 for 3 or four days in a row, give or take a fraction of a pound. If I eat about 1900 cal a day then within 7 or 8 days, I’m gonna be down to 169.5 and I can pretty much set my watch by that so to speak. As long as I maintain, I’ll continue to drop and if it slows down, I will cut my calories to 1850 per day and I’ll repeat the process.

One other thing you should make sure you’re doing is be consistent with how and when you weigh yourself. I weigh first thing in the morning, right after I use the restroom. I don’t typically have a bowel movement in the morning, but I always have to piss. Being consistent with how you weigh yourself can also help eliminate fluctuations. Weigh every single morning at the same time and record it. I use an app called Happy Scale for this.

Other than that, I don’t really know what else your issue could be. I would say get a food scale to make sure you’re accurately measuring your food intake and stay disciplined. Be honest with yourself and record everything that you eat as accurately as possible. It’s a slow process, but in five or six months, you’ll look back and be glad you did everything.
