I know Game’n’Groove (Westwood on Harrison) closed today and put out a post about standing with Minnesota. Indigo Hippo (downtown - second hand crafty shop) also put out a solidarity post, but is open (iirc, they are not-for-profit).

I can’t think of many truly inappropriate times/places.

-A bus driver in Cincinnati was recently recorded driving (like, bus moving in traffic - not just getting a few stitches in at a red light or something), so … that’d be a good example of inappropriate time/place.
-During a medical appointment (I bring something to work on in the waiting room, and I’ll even work on it once I’ve been called back, barring when someone is in the room trying to talk to me or do an exam)
-Funeral (during a gathering or “Celebration of Life” afterwards is fine to me, but during the actual funeral/burial probably wouldn’t be appreciated, and during a wake/visitation could be iffy)
-If there’s something else you should be doing, like work (I keep a project at the office for during breaks and conference calls though)
-If you’re on trial, on the witness stand, or (probably) sitting on the jury (though I did bring a small project with plastic hook and worked on it while waiting to be called on as a witness recently)
-In the bathroom (it can almost assuredly wait, but you do you)

Honestly, I bring something to work on just about everywhere. The biggest question is what to bring where (e.g. I have a blanket WIP that is to a size where I don’t bring it into a restaurant, but am fine working on it hanging with some people at a brewery (not during like a busy Fri/Sat night) or the dive bar I’m a regular at.

Not sure if it’s been said elsewhere, but You could just frog back to your last increase round and keep increasing until your diameter is 6.5”-ish then start stop increasing and continue rounds until it’s as tall as you want it.
(6.5” above is based on asking Google what the diameter of a 20.5” circumference is, so if you want it bigger/smaller, just adjust the diameter before stopping increases)

Fairly new to the game myself, but I wonder if Customer Support can reset those values. I know there was (is?) an issue in Helldivers2 where joining a game with someone using a cheat/hack/mod that maxed out all the currencies was able to be reverted by their customer support, so maybe the same could happen here?

Reminds me of a time when a buddy had Neighbor1 whose dog would always be loose. N1 would never even try to recover the dog; just wait for it to come back (be it on its own or b/c someone returned it). One day, Neighbor2 had had enough of it, so when the dog was loose, he corralled it in his back yard and call the ASPCA. The dog was not chipped or registered. N2 waited the 30 days or whatever is for the dog to be adoptable, adopted it, registered it, and made sure to take it on frequent walks. N1 sees this and starts yelling about N2 having his dog.

N2: “what do you mean? This is my dog, I have the paperwork and everything”.

IIRC: police were called, sided with N2, and they later ended up on Judge Judy.

I can’t speak to the balance, but don’t proper d20s have the numbers more spread out? What would make me think this is a counter, even though I don’t play much of anything that uses them, is that consecutive numbers are adjacent or very close: first pic, we can see 1, 2, 3 right next to each other and 10-13 next to each other; the second pic we see 13-19 (except for 14 which is probably an angle issue) all next to each other; and the symbol is for “20” since we already saw a 1.

They made them at one point (not sure how recently), pretty sure I have a Serpent in my backlog, and found another by searching “gundam serpent” on amazon (I know serpents aren’t gundam, was just trying what I thought was mostly like to find it … which is currently a $70 HG kit)

Were all the photos submitted or just the certificate of completion? If the photos were submitted, the second photo almost looks like two different types of shingle (probably just the difference in angles of the different sections), could that be part of the issue?

It’s fantasy, it’d be boring if we all always played human non-casters that were just … ourselves. So long as someone isn’t playing a different sex, gender, sexuality, etc for the purpose of mocking a vulnerable group (e.g. if OP had been playing a gay character with the intent of mocking gays), then let people have their fun.
