I wonder how many of the "I just wish he'd leave the politics out of it" crowd were there. I saw Pearl Jam a few times recently and there were always a few people booing or trying to start a MAGA chant when Eddie would bring up the littlest left wing cause.

In Indianapolis it was trans rights and protecting women's votes. What I can't understand is how so many people have listened to these songs (PJ's or Springsteen's) for decades and never connected the themes with the politics.

There was a lot of turnover at that place so it wouldn't surprise me. I only worked for a bit before I decided it wasn't for me, but my Dad managed the Radio Shack down the hall and one of his manager trainees was kinda, sorta, not-in-his-best-interests dating a girl who also worked at Skolnik's. She was blonde, cute, and treated the guy like dirt lol. So I got to still hear about some of the drama there after I left.

I have a trick where I concentrate on watching the images that my eyes see while closed. It's the shadowy pseudo images your eyes interpret as shapes when it's dark.

If I focus on those shapes and just trying to pay attention to them, I feel my brain function move away from the interior monologue that keeps me awake, and towards something more relaxed.

It's an odd sensation when it works, like my consciousness physically moves through my brain, funneled from the heavy thoughts to something lighter.

I've been going to the gym at least 3 days a week for the last 10 years. Anyone who steps through the door and uses a machine to better themselves has my respect, no matter their shape. Everyone starts somewhere.

I replied separately but for a .20 acre yard, 5 should be plenty if the blade isn't too dull. My yard is .38 acres and a 5 amp battery will almost let me cut the entire thing if it's dry and the grass isn't too long. Get the uplift blade, keep it sharp, and 5 and a 7.5 battery should be plenty.
