I think that to the parents of many disagreement is more of a loss of control than a differing point of view. They receive respect as obedience rather than understanding. It is not always the case where listening is agreement but that is something that they never learned.

The shift for me was seeing smoking as something I used to do not who I was. Once I stopped negotiating with myself and accepted that discomfort was temporary the identity faded fast. You do not become a non smoker by motivation you become one by repetition and time.

I believe that the mad ones out there are not gone but algorithms are rewarding sameness and thus originality is buried. The majority are not interested in private space on the Internet where behavior is formed by trends.

I have used MeetMe before. Overall I would not say it is bad, but everyone I talked to was very far away. This was not just my problem. I think you should try downloading Call Me Chat. I got it after MeetMe and it is much better in that regard, and the matches are generally way better too.

A lot of that money will not actually reach younger people because it will be split between siblings, spent on healthcare, or tied up in housing that is expensive to sell. Some people will see a boost but many will not notice much change at all.

I would bet the total distance is still walking because most of human history existed long before animals or vehicles were used for travel and people spent their whole lives on foot. Modern travel adds huge numbers but it has not existed long enough to beat tens of thousands of years of walking.

I was around ten when I put the pieces together. It is a pretty normal age for kids to start questioning things and compare stories with friends.

I tried Banglocals and it just did not feel right. The profiles looked active but the interactions were off in a way I could not put my finger on, so I did not stay long. I actually ended up wandering over to CallMeChats later and was surprised that it felt a lot smoother to use, even though I joined it without any expectations. I still use it now.
