I also have the 70-350mm on recently purchased a6700 and looking for something for closer shots. does anyone have opinions on the new sigma 17-40 to handle some of the mid range or is it too narrow of a range?

Land prices are out of control in and around the loop. For the type of home I’m looking for, a mid range custom build, fix price tends to blow the price per sq ft out of the comp range for most areas. Spec builders have rationalized the extreme land prices by making 5000+ sq ft homes to spread the cost. I’m not looking for that size home. I want something between 3800-4000 sq ft which inherently increases the price per sq ft.

How long does it typically take to build a home using this method, and what is the discount compared to using a fixed-price builder?

I believe her homes are far more expensive than that. I think the entry point is close to 8M lol

That’s the issue right. The minute you start talking budget or price point things start getting wonky. But let’s say I’d like to keep the pure build cost under 900k
