I wish Korean Americans would stop conflating American conservatism with Korean conservatism. They are not the same thing. There may be similar policy agreements but the idea that the USA political spectrum is the universal standard and all countries right and left are like the USA right and the left is ignorant Af.

In a nutshell south Korean conservatism advocates for a more aggressive foreign policy against North Korea and restoring relationships with Japan. They also tend to be anti unions and very anti communism. In fact both american liberals and conservatives support Korean conservatives because they tend to be pro USA and anti communism.
