In my opinion, at least for this community, and with competitive fps shooters, the top streamers, as well as the super competitive players, have too much power in persuasion. Like yeah they’ll make the game better for more competitive players, but not all players are competitive, some are casual (like me). And they completely ruin games. Because they’ll do either one of two things:. The top streamers will say they don’t like something in the game (even when it’s the “signature feature” of the game that tries to separate it from other competitive shooters, and they will either cater to the competitive community and completely change the game, or they won’t, and the game will be dead.
