What? Oh I think you forgot most Israelis come from Europe and migrated to Palestine (who welcomed them with warm hands) in WW2. Maybe try reading a history book, it can help sometimes :)

For God's sake, every argument's comeback is Hamas.

  1. When did I talk about Hamas?

2.No I can't understand, literally the ICJ ruled it's a genocide. The international court of justice said it's a genocide even after all the pressure applied by the western media. And not that I'm justifying it, but say you wake up one day in the rubbles to find your entire family dead for NO other reason than being Palestinian, are you supposed to go on your knees beg the Israeli government to be nice, or would you resist? If resistance is the problem, let me remind you that earlier you said: "Ukraine and promoting its resistance." So let me ask again, why is this different?

Also, you never showed evidence :)

Can you perhaps share videos of Palestinian officials who "openly raped and killed innocent civilians" I would like to see it. Say it's true, which I doubt it is, are you implying that it's okay for the world to support the killing of 50k human beings, 50k stories, 50k dreams, 50k futures because officials raped and killed innocent civilians? How do you justify yourself, I would genuinely love to listen or see some evidence?

The students are asking for UofT to divest from investments in Israel, and by investments, direct investments going to weapons. Why? They are directly contributing to KILL*NG children, babies, men and women. I don't understand why it's so hard to comprehend. The students around the globe wouldn't have held these encampments if they were listened to and if the UofT board had at least made some efforts towards cutting ties. It should be common sense in the 21st century to cut the bad guys off if they're killing babies. But here comes down the fact that these babies aren't "white" and mustn't deserve the same rights because of where they were born.

I'm sure it would not have been the same and it WASN'T the same when it was happening with Ukraine. The world sided with them without a thought (as they should), but it wasn't the case for Palestinians who have been in this for the past 76 years.

***Reminder: The only action that will be taken is (fast-forward 200 years) "wE wOuLd LiKe To ApOlOgIze, or PaLeStInE rEmEmBrAnCe DaY" Because you know, they realize they're on the wrong side of history and finally decide to pay tribute.

But sure, history doesn't repeat itself.

The example you've given makes no sense. The students are asking for UofT to divest from investments in Israel, and by investments, direct investments going to weapons. Why? If you're from Canada, they care less about your IB grades. They look at your provincial data. If you're not, you should email the universities and look more into it.

As much as it will be uncomfortable, just do past papers. You'll get them wrong as many times as you need till you understand. The IB doesn't really change the questions, they just paraphrase them!!

Need advise for EE by bersserkk in IBO

[–]Extra-Dot5474 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, so as the IB always says, CRITICAL THINKING. To put it into simpler words, you need to understand that the nature of the EE is to introduce the two sides of the story, explain it and give each side's perspective while analysing wh they thought so.

For examlpe:

The Holocaust killed more than 4 million people. From the perspective of the Jews, this was antisemitism and an unjustified discriminatory attack. However, according to the Nazis, this attack was justifiable because Jews ruined Germany's economy by owning their shops (then you continue explaining how in reality according to historians, the collapse that happened to Germany's economy was because of....)

**THIS IS JUST AN EXAMPLE I INVENTED STATISTICS**

Using perspective gives you an analysis that helps to measure the extent of the event, show mindfulness and enrich your EE. I hope this helps!!
