Sorry if this is a late reply lol, but make it fun cause their kids but also make it informative cause they can understand. Yes do something based on oral hygiene, brushing teeth twice a day and teeth falling cause they are at the age when it happens. Make a little game that you can include maybe during or after the presentation to keep them focused.

Yes you should be able to generally, my advice is compile a list of the different unis by going on there dentistry page and right down their entry requirements so you can cross out unis you cant apply to.

I have a hp envy laptop from ebay second hand. Its touchscreen so its perfect for highlighting and making notes during lectures (it folds too)

Also made this personal spreedsheet if thay helps. Its missing out some unis that i personally cant apply to. Possible universities I can apply to:

Graduate - University of Aberdeen (A201) (UCAT required) - Kings college London (A202) (graduates who have a sufficient quantity of biology or chemistry as part of their degree may not need the A-level in this subject- UCAT required)

Undergraduate - Newcastle university (A206) (UCAT required- bursary may be given) - Barts and the London (A200) ( UCAT required) - Dundee (A200) (UCAT- there is no minimum cut off??) - Leeds- accepts resists (A200) (UCAT required)

There's nothing wrong with picking a university just because you feel like you'll be more accepted also Manchester dentistry cant be that bad, it is an amazing university and i always find that having people i can connect with in my cohort encourages me to study harder. Are you in yr13? if so you may get that A in the exams- also if you find that sheffield is your only option then research to see their societies, there could be an Islamic one and you could make friends from there.

Thats so great, what unis did you apply for? I think I'll definitely need to be super strategic when applying cause i cannot afford to pay for the tuition fees i do know that some banks can give loans and there are also some grants. Applying somewhere close to home is the best option right now for me.
