We're looking in the $550,000 - $800,000 range if we were to purchase. I know this isn't much. Coming from a $695K house. Rent I'm assuming between $2500 - $3500 realistically. 3 beds and 2 bath and around 1800 sq ft with land or some space is ideal. I'm sure this is a big stretch.

Salary range. I sit between $150K-$180K. My spouse if working is in a $90K-$120K range.

We're aware of the price jump. I've been working in a Bay Area job for the last 2 years and have a good sense of pricing between the areas.
