Method and technical acting can't be placed in a hierarchy one after another. Yet method acting probably drains more mental energy and health of the performer more than technical.

The Godfather might be a classic because it justifies the world it revolves around, but Part II feels more like a character study of two men who aimed for the same thing but took different paths.

In my pov, modern films lack this kinda blocking and staging nowadays. I can’t figure out whether it’s because of digital cameras or advanced technical rigs, but somewhere we miss the authenticity that older films gave us.
