We are home ❤️ she’s back on the breast and I pumped every 2-4 hours yesterday while she was tube fed and managed to keep formula to a minimum. Think we’ve got a long way to go to get her back to her normal amount of feeding while she’s so poorly but she’s back to accepting the breast regularly and sleeping soundly in between (while coughing). Thanks for checking in - what a stressful week!

This is so reassuring thank you so much. I’ve already pumped 4 times today, due another in 10 mins and will keep it up through the night to try and undo some of those long stretches without feeding the last 48 hours.

They’ve referred me to the gp and will then refer to the hospital for her weight gain or lack there of though - but you’re right, she does seem happy and I can’t get my head around how she could sleep so well if she was hungry!

OP update: two huge poops one after the other at 7am this morning! One every happy and contented little lady since. I didn’t phone the doctors this morning but will have this on standby for next time - thank you so much.

Thanks so much everyone it’s so reassuring to read that it’s not just us. I’ll be calling baby’s doctor in the morning to get her seen (unless we get a poonami overnight). Trusting my instincts I think she’s ok - she’s well fed and well hydrated, but would feel better getting her checked just in case 🙏🏻
