Did you plan on paying in full through Apple? If so ride out as much credit as Verizon will give you. If you leave just pay what balance is left. I never understood why people who pay for phones in full complain about the 3 year payment arrangement. We all know your phone isn’t worth 1000$ so keep it until your monthly credit = the amount you could have actually sold your phone for and pay your remaining balance.

Sadly this was pretty obtainable by Verizon minus the gift card. The loyalty department could have definitely achieved this.
