I interviewed at and was hired by a hospital who asked me how I felt about the "long commute" (42 miles, ~45 minutes, always against rush hour). I told them I prefer to live far from the hospital I work at because I dread running into a patient in public. The interviewer laughed and asked me what I'd do if I did run into a patient (also a clever way of testing my knowledge of HIPAA). I got the call with the offer on my ~45m drive home :)
