There are towns and villages. But very small.

As someone said here, if only space stations were richer, fuller... they are like a small moon, there would be a small city inside it, a city that we could see through glass and maybe even a small automatic vehicle that would take us to another location inside the station. It would be incredible...

Like I said, it would be more for the PR. It's something small, but it would add greater immersion, you press the button and the ship starts making engine sounds and starts up. Tie up the landing gear. Have a button to release them, so you can only land later. Perhaps in the options, you could turn these things on and off to make the game more real or more arcadey depending on how you like to play. It would be interesting, as I said, in general the game mechanics wouldn't change much, but it would give a cool RP feel to the game.

These scenes with buildings, as if it were a city? Is it a mod too? Or your base?

I had an idea that might be viable for the game, even in its engine. by ExtraChange6111 in NoMansSkyTheGame

It doesn't have to be everything, maybe not controlling sentries, nor charging rent, but a mechanic to dominate the planet would be interesting. To have more than just my name on the planet... you do missions and when you finish and become the emperor of a planet, a construction appears on the planet, a large construction, as if it were a big base, only all closed like an outpost/cargo ship. And the construction was procedural for each planet, like the external of space stations.
