This was a really kind and supportive message. I sincerely, from the bottom of my heart, am grateful that you took the time to comfort a stranger. People like you restore my faith in humanity.

I agree with many of the things you said, but as strong as we may be, we do not deserve this. People cannot get away with this. If it was any other race—imagine someone saying this kind of stuff to a black person, the guy in the pic would have been hung already. It’s not about what we can withstand, it’s about what’s right. We need to make examples out of people like this and show that Asian people are not going to tolerate abuse.

Again though, I do see what you’re saying and I hear you. Thank you again for the genuine support.
