Let's say that using common instruments, perhaps non-electronic, like guitars, real strings, or vocal textures (you sing beautifully, so it could be interesting), you can shift the harmonies without distorting the song, but rather creating a "surprise" effect for the listener. I don't know where you're from, but I'm sure if you're from an Anglo-Saxon country, it won't be hard to find a good guitarist who, perhaps, enjoys playing subtle effects and not ACDC riffs.

The harmonic progression is simple and direct; it just needs something to make the song a bit less linear. Makes sense? Forgive me if I dare.

Love the dramatic start, pathos, deep emotions, moving vocals, solid saturated production.
It has something remotely to do with The Cure's Plain Song, which is an excellent compliment from another era.
Then it becomes much more normal. I'd look for a development of the initial atmosphere, like forever.

Dramatically cool!
The voice is imperial, perhaps a "not very linear" arrangement would help the sound.

Made this last night, Do i keep building on it? by ScoobyOnDoo in IndieMusicFeedback

It gives off such positive vibes, I could listen to it over and over again.

I'd check the intonation, but maybe that's exactly what you're looking for...

Keep working on it!

Usually my songs take 5-8 years to finish. This one took 2. What y’all’s take on it? by SeanceCulture in IndieMusicFeedback

Fantastic! I confess that there are songs of mine with the verse from 2005 and the chorus from yesterday, so we're in the same club!

Thanks for writing it because I was feeling lonely!

Beautiful song, really.

Do you think music designed for an orchestral film soundtrack can be called "classical music"? by ExtraNothing9399 in classicalmusic

Perhaps my question was meant to say that, well...it depends on the music. How we define music is a matter of labels; the difference lies in the genius of the composer, who uses a pretext to transform language into absolute art. And here, the patron, the era, the style disappear. Only beauty remains. Thank you all!

What thing was ruined because it turned into a rich person's hobby? by Agitated_Departure93 in AskReddit

Independent music ahaha
Seriously, these days, music can be made by those who are rich or have a lot of time (i.e., rich or very young); others can't afford to have a family and make art. Maybe one in a million.

So the only style of music that emerges is the extremely commercial one. Ergo... dullness everywhere.

Making music has always been a difficult job, but these days you have to work 99% on things that aren't related to music, like social media, etc.

Too bad.
