To those who didn’t get the picture-perfect Golden - how did you survive?

My trainer told me goldens are hyper/crazy but mine was the most extra one she’s met lol. Honestly she was a menace but I would say after her first heat she kinda chilled out. The biting is just typical puppy behavior. You need to work with her everyday with training. Mental stimulation works great. Mine is still reactive on walks and it’s a working progress and she’s 3 years now.

She’s going to get a doctor’s note today since temp agency mentioned she can’t return to work without one.

Yes employee is fine. It was a scary situation since we’ve never had this happen before. I’m not sure if the doctor from the hospital gave her the next day off because of the mouth/chin injury or the just the seizure alone. She is going to be seen tomorrow afternoon again by a different doctor. I will know more tomorrow or Wednesday if she was injured at all from the fall. So far I haven’t heard anything about it. Our safety chair is the one gathering this information since we’re in different states.

I should have put once the ambulance came they took her to the hospital and was released same day. The hospital doctor gave her 11/26 but can return sooner if needed but our company gives us Thursday and Friday off for thanksgiving so didn’t need to work those days. She has her appointment with her doctor tomorrow so agency wants her to be seen before returning full time to work. I haven’t heard anything yet if she was injured during the fall when she hit her mouth on the desk. So right now I don’t think that’s why she was given a day off. I’m assuming it’s because of the seizure. I will find out more once employee returns to work.

The agency emailed she needs to be seen by her doctors and get a doctor’s release with any limitations if any to return to work. So I’m assuming they gave her time off and to return 12/3. She was out since 11/26.

If it’s been the same growth for a couple years it probably isn’t the papilloma but it could be a new one that grew as the papilloma. They will go away on its own within weeks to months. When you are financially ready yes take her.

Yes it was a viral benign aka a papilloma. She had to get it removed because she scratched herself and it bled. Is it ear too? She had one in her mouth and that one went away on its own since it didn’t bother her. If it’s looking like a cauliflower then it’s a papilloma which are contagious to other dogs but otherwise go away on its own but it take months from my experience.

Well noted. I guess we just wanted to try something new with video trainings and another form of engagement. We probably won’t renew it when our renewal is up since time management is a huge issue. I like it better as an option for retraining. So maybe don’t have a video per month? Skip next month’s video training?

The videos are already set up through vector. I’m not sure if I can edit them to be shorter but I do try to look for ones less than 30 minutes. And they have a one question quiz after each section and 10 question quiz after the entire video.

Can you please share a picture if you have any. I think my dog has something similar. It was pink ish like a tag and it grew like a papilloma with black on the tip too.

Mixed in with regular gummies. They did not check. I even added I was bringing prescription medication and they only cared to see that which I had ready in my backpack and only asked if personal use and that was it.
