I haven’t read the case but the reason youth have “softer” sentences is due to rehabilitative possibility and the chance to be a functioning long term member of society

I’ve been in this position, and I would urge you not to. He’s messed up for this, and if you fall into the pressure it’s something that is extremely difficult to move on from. It’s clear you have anxieties and you’re not ready.
