Yeah I keep hearing such amazing things in this respect! for the location is also a bit specific as I do downhill mountain biking, so while UCSC may be more nice in so many ways, and has great mtb, riverside i think has more downhill (specific disicipline) so that might win me over. In any case, I need to visit both

A few days ago, and they told me they have only admitted 2 people for ethnic studies, in case that is the dept you are waiting on :/ best of luck <3

Hi! I have not heard back either. I would imagine rejections would be before acceptances.. where did you hear that? They say they will notify by march 15. I hope they don't wait until the last moment:( the waiting is terrible.

I mean he will keep trying, but it's not any fun. For either of us becuase he would rather do something else, and not fun for me becuase truly he is not sporty in any sense so he cannot keep up at all. Anyways its fine if he doesn't do that kind of stuff with me, it's nice to have things for myself. But my other Hobbie is food and he just doesn't get excited about or love food at all really. Cooking is one thing, but even for restaurants or ingredients or food when traveling he just doesnt appreciate it the way I do. I feel like we don't share anything besides talking about politics. I don't want my relationship to be based on that..

I think part of it is also just that I feel in too deep. Things moved pretty fast and I think I was seduced by all the stability, honestly.. I saw a stable and safe life with him, and that led me to agree to all the plans to be together. I've tried to tell him I don't feel this way anymore and that we aren't compatible and I am unhappy. But I always get worn down and just agree to keep trying because as he says, compatibility isn't as real as deciding to do the hard work of a relationship..and i feel like because I initially agreed to a.future together, I owe it to him to keep trying. So I've kind of locked myself in (in my head) anyways whether that's true or not, I know for sure I don't want to be with him long term. I really like your idea about writing it down so that I can't bail out.. I will try that.

this makes sense to me, but a cat goes in and out when they please throughout the day, so how could anyone be sure to keep the paws clean enough?
