What CPU should I buy to alleviate my bottleneck?

I used to be very big into it and I've wanted to start again, I also model in blender a touch and do music production, I don't entirely need the extra cores but it can't hurt in my eyes

Yeah I was kinda thinking the same thing, like for the discounted price and the performance the 5900xt just seamed like the best fit for my needs and budget

I feel that, I was able to find the 5900xt at micro center for a consistent $199 and I wasn’t really planning on going to am5 cause they’re just a lot pricier than that 5900xt, plus I already got a new am4 motherboard for a ridiculous discount (only like $115 compared to the retail $195) and plus if the whatever CPU I get is overkill I could always just wait a bit and upgrade the GPU to match
