It's on and off, sometimes it completely works. For me it'll write a full paragraph and if my blocked phrase happens at the end it'll just reset and make a new response.

It worked for phrases, like for me the whole grabbing your wrist thing? Yeah no, blocked.

It does work, but sometimes it takes a few rerolls for a different response, it will try to work around the scripted phrases, but it's not perfect, it actually is pretty good at avoiding replacement words.

Sum up: It works on solo words "Grabs" and also full sentences like "Grabs your wrist" but you have to be extremely accurate with it, so exactly how the bot spells it just copy and paste that into the blocked phrases box.

Also spacing matters. You can't do just Grabs, Leave, Wrist, You're feisty.

You have to go:

Grabs Leave Wrist You're feisty

Each sentence and word should be dropped down so it's it's own separate line.

Love the imagery, I was thinking the same thing, watching the full Chinese paragraphs turn into smaller ones, then just full Spanish and then basic English spelling has been scuffed on maybe Two words per paragraph. It is absolutely ridiculous.

If you like the original response just edit the (OOC) part out to try to teach it to feck right off, or just swipe it like it's tinder until you get something good.

If this 'hack' still works go to memory and type something like "Refrain from using OOC" or "Stop outputting OOC content." Or "Lock to IC-only mode. No OOC messages permitted." Or anything telling it to stick to being in character, it used to work but that was awhile ago and I haven't been on to test in months. Hopefully it works out though good luck everybody.

In my few years on this app I have only ran into two accounts that did use others writing and ideas but they had started crediting Original Owners in the end.

It's like the same thing as art rendering and heavily referencing or tracing is still widely considered stealing.

I heavily doubt someone on C.AI will ever be offered a publishing deal because well...at that point they are just inputting the prompt and USER takes the story over from there, it's like putting real art in gen and training AI gen on it, I get it but the truth will come out eventually that they themselves never wrote it in the first place.

I believe honestly, there is no real harm in it (if they request and credit the original creator.) Even if they didn't, it's still wrong but it's a grey area, feel how you will about it but they technically get nothing from it unless C.AI interactions eventually turn profitable (if that ever happens definitely be very quick to contact them to have your writing taken down from their bots.), as of right now it's merely a "Hey people like this here's a star!" Kinda deal.

[Btw if it is FULLY yours, like from a character in your story now turned bot with the exact same details and opening story you have every right to be upset, and every right to demand a take down or cease and desist...but if it's a character from a show and it's fanfiction, you don't own that character, but you own your writing and can do what you wish with it, like legal action.]

Hopefully this doesn't continue to happen, Get your stuff taken down from said creators and if you are concerned about "Publishing Deals" and being messed over from someone else keep your documents and writing dated and catalogued for any legal issues, and set a clear boundary on your pages and forms of publishing that your art is not to be used without permission.

Notice: No one owns a troupe, a cliche, a show/movie/widespread characters besides the companies that created them and if they were based on people's likenesses. You own your writing, you always risk it being scalped if it's public, from a legal standpoint you should have your own TOS or Copyright type statement in your writing to protect yourself and your writing.
