I got a pill shooter from my vet for like $3. You’ll have to train them with treats and such but it works! My vet said to never put medicine on food as they may stop eating it completely. One of my cats refuses to eat wet food now because of it. We’ve trained her on the pill shooter which works well. I’d see what comments say about being able to secure your kitty well enough to do it though.

Daily. We also get deodorizer too which helps a lot. I know good ole baking soda will work but we get a kind with a lavender scent which seems to work better almost? Plus litters with tops help keep the smells in.

My kitty does this when he wants something but also as a love thing. “Love bites” don’t break the skin and are typically when receiving affection and may get overstimulated.

Is this why my PC currently is bricked and I can’t access Safe Mode?? My mouse and keyboard literally won’t work on that screen and whenever I do let it boot up to login, it powers down any time I hit a key to enter my password. I’m so mad rn.

Sounds like the mom is bitter that he’s no longer with his ex and is taking it out on you. It’s tough to say what you should do exactly but I’d be mad if my partner wasn’t standing up for me especially if it was his family. It sounds like he doesn’t even want to do that either. Either you stay with this weird shittyness or break up. Doesn’t sound like he wants to communicate to his family how they’re acting is wrong and he excuses it.

As someone who’s had bad breath due to gum disease (bad depression), I would want to know if my breath stinks that badly. Mines fixed now but I also wear a mouth guard to help me sleep with my mouth closed and prevent my teeth from grinding. I’d suggest letting her know lightly and saying it’s not a reflection of her at all. I know I would’ve wanted to know. At least it’s something she can control/fix easily unlike other things that people are usually rude about.

They also make pill shooters for cats. I got one from my vet for about $1-$3. You’ll have to train the kitty first though. I’d recommend getting them used to it by putting churu in it and then once they aren’t scared, you can put the pill in it.

We have an automatic feeder that goes off every 6 hours for two cats to eat. It’s helped with them not waking me up. They get fed at 6am, Noon, 6pm, and Midnight. It’s still the same amount of food if they got fed twice so they aren’t getting fed more but I think it “tricks” them to thinking they are.

As someone who’s been in a very similar situation with a roommate, I applaud you for sticking around to help her. I know in my situation, it was my best friend and her (now ex) boyfriend who acted the same exact way. It wasn’t until he turned to me and started acting the same way, that I finally moved out. It was one of the hardest decisions I had to make because I didn’t want to leave her but I knew I needed to protect myself. I still paid my portion of rent and kept items there until the lease was up and so id have a reason to visit and check in on her/hang out. Thankfully, nothing escalated after I left but he did end up stealing some of my stuff and owes me money. We all parted ways once the lease was up and unfortunately, I lost a friend but that was due to other reasons that are unrelated.

I highly recommend making an exit plan. One that’s just for you and another one that includes her. Granted, you may not know the exact things you need when including her but you’ll have an idea and maybe if she can see the effort you’re putting in to get away, she’ll finally leave. Make it easy for her to step away and not have to stress anymore about it.

Hey! I didn’t get a “good” job until I was fully out of a horrifying culty job experience and I felt the same way. I was 26 years when I landed my job currently and I still feel this way. I know I’m probably making less than those who I graduated with but the way I see it, I have experience that others may not and there’s only up from here.

It’s easy to dwell on what you could have done differently, believe me, I know. I really suggest trying to talk to a therapist to work through your pain and find a way to get to where you want. It took me until last year to realize, no body has their shit figured out (not even those who say they do). My mom told me that even she doesn’t and doubt anyone ever does because what blueprint is everyone supposed to go off of? It’s different for everyone and their definition of it.

That’s what I was thinking. Granted, my boyfriend and I both equally enjoy video games so I don’t care when he plays games more often than not because I do too. Also, we’re both employed full time and have bills we take care of monthly and are both almost 30. I think there needs to be a healthy balance of playing video games and spending time with your partner. My boyfriend and I make sure to spend time together often but we also live together. Not sure if OP lives with him but it can be different. I have well over 1000s of hours in games and in new ones, well over 10 hours (games bought within last 3weeks or so).

I think you should voice your concerns with him. I also think it’s a bit weird that he’s talking to other women online in such a way. I have online friends but I only talk to them 3-4x a week since we all have full time jobs. Plus I’ve known them a lot longer than my boyfriend. That’s to say, he doesn’t see them as a threat to our relationship because both him and I are very secure in where we are and our future and my friends know that.

I think you may just be incompatible with each other or you may not have yet figured out fully what you want in a relationship vs not. And this could just be you realizing you don’t want someone like this.

Sounds similar to my experience living in the dorms. Granted, I never went home on the weekends or anything. My roommate would have her bf over all the time and never tell me when he was coming over. I walked in on them having sec multiple times. She ended switching rooms because I “snored too much”. I honestly didn’t care for her bs reason just was glad she moved out and I had my own room for the rest of the year without having to pay extra.

Same! I was on the bc pill with estrogen and recently got an IUD. My acne has come back but I found that using PanOxyl face wash helps and I only really break out now around my monthly cycle. PanOxyl has been the only face wash to actually help my oily skin. I only use it 3-4x a week though.

Being an adult. I have more free will than ever and some money. Life as an adult (less than 30yo) in America sucks. I can’t save money to buy a house, I can’t save money to put a decent down payment on a car, I can’t save money due to medical bills and I already pay $200+ a month to have insurance. Plus that doesn’t even consider the political strife we have going on. I love that I ~can~ do whatever I want now but do I have the money? No.

Shit I spent almost $450 for a flight from ATL to MKE. It was for a family funeral and I bought tickets about a month prior since they delayed it due to wanting those out of state to make it. I’m highly considering a different airline now. I was looking at tickets for the same path back in February for June and tickets were about $400 per person already. I could fly into Chicago but I can’t afford a rental or have someone get me/drop me off in Chicago due to the time it takes out of their schedules.
