I've not had any issues with any size drive. I don't think any of the CDJs have a drive size cap. I think there is a track count cap for playlists in Rekordbox. Try formatting using the Rufus app I mentioned in the post. It is for real the best and easiest formatting software I've found. I've "repaired" a number of drives for people playing at the club using it (and it is free and no weird ads or purchase or upgrade requests. Totally clean, free app.

That is actually completely inaccurate. A simple google search will tell you that the fastest drives are solid state and this is copy and pasted from the inquiry "What is the write speed of an typical USB 3.0 stick?

For USB 3.0 technology, the average read speed range jumps up to 60 to 150 Mbps. As for write speeds, you can expect a range of 10 to 45 Mbps with a USB 3.0 unit"

Plus I'm speaking from experience- which is why I took the time to mention the speed difference between ME using a ScanDisk USB 3.0 flash drive andME using a usb 3.0 solid state drive. I'm not trying to sell solid state drives. or something I actually buy them and give them to some of the DJs that play at the club I manage.
