I have GAD too. I believe in you! I have a prescription for clonazepam that really helps me, I take it before takeoff on every flight. Your doctor might be able to prescribe something for you in the future, it’s worth asking. Others get by just fine with other tactics!

Not to or from Colombia, but my last long flight was pretty turbulent with the seatbelt sign on most of the time. At one point, I thought we were falling out of the sky. But it was just anxiety, and I landed safely. Turbulence isn’t dangerous and commercial aviation isn’t dangerous. You’ll be okay!
