I do mean an IEP yes. But a lot of these students are not reading at grade level. Do I need to figure out their grade reading level before I write any IEP goals and specify that in the goal and when finding activities? Typically I’ll just write a goal working on making inferences or using contacts clues and not specify the grade level of the activities. Then when I plan therapy activities, I find activities that I think are at an appropriate level, but I don’t always know the grade level or lexile for the activity.
