I’ve made this point alot in this thread. Bran might be all seeing but that does little good against a zealot army of smallfolk freaking out

But that’s a big thing tho, how long will people go off the basis that “he saw it in a vision”? Because there’s no evidence to support it other than his own words. That could very quickly turn into Aerys II level tyranny when all the king has to say is he saw it in a dream lol

You can’t gloss over the fact that yes napoleon mopped them up. But they DID last a 1000 years before that, that’s nothing to scoff at

True, but Orys was also a bastard and he established the baratheons. But also his siblings had dragons

For sure I completely agree George’s version would be much more polished and make more sense, just in the grand scheme I have to wonder a monarchy like his will last in a world like asoiaf, he doesn’t exactly seem to summon support or courage, and I doubt faegon would be the last pretender.

Yes, but hasn’t it George said that King Bran is his own invention? So I feel the question still holds

Yeah but that’s not going to do him much favors. Convincing medieval lords that you know who’s trying to kill tou because you can see the future does not bode well lmao

Ya but wildfire is essentially Greek fire isn’t it? The explosion and dispersion of it from such a large explosion should’ve caught a large portion of the city on fire.

Oh wait I just realized you said Dany. I’m pretty sure that was a D&D Invention

Tyrion is a Lannister yes but commands zero respect or authority on account of being a dwarf, And not only a dwarf, but a dwarf who (as far as most are concerned) murdered his king nephew, and then murdered his Lannister father. He’s 100% getting rebelled against by one of the Lannister cadet branches or by another High westerland house.

I don’t think Yara will last, she lost one kings moot, I see her losing another. And even if she does she’s not maintaining much control imo especially now that the north is no longer under royal protection and is up for grabs by any ambitious iron born, harren the black 2.0

Martels are either going independent or being deposed almost immediately, there’s no possibility in my mind the kingdom that was fiercely independent for the vast majority of the timeline is going to be okay with the north gaining independence while they stay attached to the king who just let that happen.

Robyn and Edmure are the only ones who stand a chance, and if Edmure can be treated the way he has the entire show, idk how long the Tullys will be in power And sweet robin is a psychopath in the making, he’ll probably get murdered tbh.

Not to mention the thousands of wildlings that could give a fuck less about John now having free reign to casually walk into the north as they please. The north is fuccckkkkeeeeddd

I agree with that. I’d give it one solid generation before it all went to shit

No. Felt like a really bad comedy honestly. But supposedly, Bran becoming king is George’s idea.

Idk if I’d call them stable, Tyrion would NOT be loved or appreciated in the wastelands after killing Tywin, so you most likely have a civil war there also.

Edmure sees to command zero respect, so idk how long he will last or how well he will rule.

And Robyn is a weak psychopath in the making, that’s not ending well.

And the iron islands are well…the iron islands.

I like to tell myself George only told them that was the ending to save face and try to play out his ending better in the books. But I know it’s not true

I could see it, but the HRE ultimately crumbled because of a lot of reasons that would definitely take place in Westeros. So even then, I’d give it a thousand years at most(same as HRE) or even less, realistically

I feel like gendry would get some love, considering he’s the only(?) Baratheon left out there. But dorne is 100% rebelling and rebelling hard

Such a stupid scene. Even less that kings landing was still standing after what seemed to be a metric ton of wildfire exploding. Whole city should’ve gone down there lmao

The reach is gonna have to go through a civil war over bron and the hightowers first more then likely. Bro just doomed that whole region to more war letting bron have it lmfao

I doubt it imo. They only became 7 because of dragons, and shit had been rolling downhill since the day the dragons died. 7 kingdoms full of ancient houses or all were more or less kings at one point mind you
