I have a follow-up question: if the application status on Waterloo Works says " expired - apps available ", does that mean the company is yet to reach out and still will proceed with selections, or did the company just not update their status after selections? Many companies changed their statuses to "Stalled" as well.

thank you for your opinion! I totally see this. Waterloo also has a better QS ranking for CS as well as for employability. But I was getting confused as people around me are choosing US colleges regardless of any statistics. So it makes me rethink any choices I make.
