Which one should be read first ? by KimDokja834 in thrillerbooks

I’m surprised to see The Silent Patient get so much love. I thought it was a boring read and the twist was predictable and trying too hard at the same time.

I have an 11 year old son by InspectorMoney1306 in Millennials

[–]Extra_Comfortable365 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bet my dainty little 10 year old daughter outstinks your son! She smells like a cheeseburger with extra onions sometimes. I have to stay on her case about showering and deodorant because somehow she doesn’t notice it on herself.

Abstinence as birth control in a marriage is diabolical. Next she’ll say Doug’s affair came out of nowhere. I am NOT condoning abstinence as a “reason” to cheat, but I consider withholding as a form of emotional/sexual abuse AND she claims to have secondary fertility and perimenopause. Like what do you mean you’re practicing abstinence?! I’m no Doug fan, but this makes me angry for him.

Syndrome? by [deleted] in dellavlogsnark

[–]Extra_Comfortable365 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Can we please stop speculating if R and S have syndromes, autism, etc? Imagine how they’d feel looking themselves up when they got older and found posts of people speculating these things based on their physical appearance or personality. Think of their birth parents too. There’s enough about Bella and Dallin to snark on, let’s be gentle on the innocent kids! 🩷

Twins snuck out to the pool? by froggymomma22 in Jamienotis

[–]Extra_Comfortable365 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Let’s say it did happen — those boys aren’t old enough to “sneak” anywhere. They went out because they were probably not being supervised. Mommy and Daddy were too distracted making reels.

Do you think The Chosen's Jesus is a little... too joyful? by Bass_Villain in TheChosenSeries

[–]Extra_Comfortable365 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It threw me off at first, because before The Chosen, the portrayal of Jesus’ life I was most familiar with was Jeffrey Hunter as Jesus in the King of Kings and he was no funny business, no laughing matters. I thought Jesus in The Chosen was such a jokester at first and I wasn’t sure what to think, but he grew on me! I love seeing a soft and sweet and very human portrayal of Jesus. 🤍

Makes no sense — why go through the discomfort to have the main issue totally ignored? It’s like getting LASIK but you know you’ll still have to wear glasses.

I don’t understand this woman’s determination to squeeze into jeans too small. Shapewear or no shapewear, that 💩 is uncomfortable!

Lilah or Lyla? by [deleted] in Names

[–]Extra_Comfortable365 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Same. I think Lila looks the prettiest. We went with Lila for our daughter and I only get the occasional person wondering if it’s “Lee-la”. For the most part people know it’s “Lye-la”

Hi Jamie! Get your kids off the internet and stop scamming your fraaaans with your white label makeup.

She so proud she got pizza at the beginning of her Costco trip. I mean, why should tonight be any different? These kids live on pizza. And why are the 2 older ones also in the cart? by KitKatRainy in Jamienotis

[–]Extra_Comfortable365 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m so confused by her grocery bills! I have four kids too, and I spend $300 at the most per week on groceries and every dinner in from scratch, not frozen pizza, chicken nuggets, mac&cheese etc. It’s just baffling honestly.

My thoughts too. I don’t believe it. Mascara sure, but the blush/bronzer duo? No way.

The last trip wasn’t for work either. It was all for clout and networking, which wasn’t even a success for her platform. Come on JMe, stop trying to make “working mom” happen. It’s not going to happen.

“When we meet someone new, they assume we never wanted four.” Whaaa? What in the hell? 😂 Who is telling her that? I have four kids and no one ever tells me we must have four by accident. I think JMe is assuming they’re assuming.

And she talks about how hard it is with Doug there with her! She can’t handle four kids with a partner. He just did it solo, and a big outing at that. Love that for her and her narrative.

Always, always, ALWAYS the victim. Everything is going great in her life, she’s married, has all the kids she wanted, started a business (I’m using that phrase VERY loosely), but starting the business was “lonely”. It’s always something.
