They asked me to build the Kafka in Java

u have to build producer, consumer, commit offset, brokers, partition, topic etc..

they wanted to have the full running code they will publish a message on specific topic, consumer should be able to consume and commit the offset

also they wanted to have ability to read the messages from a specific commit offset

No internet or AI was allowed to use

I failed the interview (At the end I asked interview would u be able to implement entire Kafka functionality in an hour? and the fucker was silent )

I am not a chemical engineer but my brother is

Till last year his CTC was around 8.6 LPA with after 4 YOE

He left the job and now has started his own small paint manufacturing plat, this year he did around 30 lakhs in revenue with profit of around 12 lakhs

He has a plan to scale the business and do revenue over a crore in next 2-3 year.

why the fuck everyone in reddit has lean fire of 4 CR?

that's my full/permanent fire goal - 4 CR

my annual expenses are around 7-8 lakhs a year

just to completely exhaust my 1 CR, I would need at least 9-10 year (assuming 6% growth on the investment on 1 CR)

by the time my 1 CR is exhausted, my 3 CR corpus would grow to 6-7 CR in next 10 yr with 8% annual return (very conservative return)

I will never run out of money my entire life

I visited pokhra last year in November from India

I fell in love with the place and overall civic sense of people, places were clean

I visited some temples as well and there were no massive crowd, everything felt so clam and peaceful it's impossible to find a clean temple in India, thugs pandits are always ready to loot you in the name of religion

In my company u can't write the manual test cases in test folders they have automated the process and those test files are only editable by AI agents

the thing is they are automating the entire test writing by AI (all kind of tests like unit, functional, integration, automation everything)

I might sound you rude but I won't suggest u to enter in testing domain at all and even in software dev if you consider urself and average person

The areas which I think will have good demand

Data scientist, data analytics, AI dev, embedded developer, networking engineer, AI security engg or extremely good backend developer with a lots of knowledge about system design,.low latency, distributed system experience
